It is imperative that you apply for VA benefits as soon as possible. The wait time for applications to be processed is between 3-6 months. Fortunately, all benefits are retro-dated back to the original filing date; however, if you or your loved one is ill, it can be a challenge to get everything done quickly. Do not procrastinate!
